Got to figure out who they are when the folks aren't around. Sounds like a really nice weekend for your both =)

Even on a good day people are climbing out all over the rocks around thunder hole. I don't get it at all. Don't they realize the main attraction there is based on the fact that there is a narrow little cave of rocks there--where you could, you know, get stuck and battered? It's scary as all crap.

Will you share the banana nut bread recipe? This post made me crave it...Ghost Riderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06285955741768298486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6948070944762476183.post-69848629341331270942010-09-05T14:53:34.371-04:002010-09-05T14:53:34.371-04:00That is one impressive phone camera. When I was up on Schoodic Peninsula a few weeks back with the nieces, I warned a tourist and her small children away from what was a very dangerous area. They just don't seem to get that nature is impassive and oblivious to them and will do her thing whether they're in harm's way or not.Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18047049720897209506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6948070944762476183.post-53628167138835786622010-09-05T12:21:18.123-04:002010-09-05T12:21:18.123-04:00Aunts are essential, in my experience--especially ...Aunts are essential, in my experience--especially to same-gender kids. We provide a safe outside world view that kids need and parents may be too busy to provide. I loved being an aunt and my 15-year old daughter benefits mightily from the love of her aunts. Sounds like you're a good one, Dawn. Lucky you to have the experience and lucky her to have your attention. It sounds like you both ...The photo is beautiful.

It sounds like you both are having an enjoyable weekend. Why question the reasons that she wants to hang out with you? If you knew the answers would it change anything? You might get a different perspective of how you are as a person. Obviously it is all good because she wanted to hang with you.

I am sad that I can't join you for a cup of coffee and some of the banana nut bread. It sounds delicious.

As far as church drama goes-this happens all the time. I learned years ago that my relationship with God is independent of church.
We have three women ministers now and I love the work that they are producing. I didin't care too much for our last visiting pastor. I thought he was an ego maniac. When he left I was happy to see him go.msladyDeborahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17593695415626632490noreply@blogger.com
