Yesterday I called Geraldine Ferraro's 1984 candidacy a gimmick. Approximately six hours before John McCain announced that his vice presidential pick was a woman named Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska.
Freakin' uncanny.
Let's hope she does for McSame what Ferarro did for Fritz.

I totally thought of your post when I heard who McCain's running mate will be.
I also thought of your post the minute I heard the announcement. I don't know what John McCain was thinking.
And his poor decision of running mate is second only to deciding to NOT GO TO THE RNC CONVENTION. Feels like Christmas morning in the house. LOL
He picked a demographic, a profile, nothing more.
It's going to be a fun fall. :)
