Einstein she ain't

Quinn is sitting in her window sill seat and barking... at the snow in the yard.

Sigh.

Not ferocious "get out of my yard or I'll rip you to shreds" barks, just little "I'm not sure I like this or really know what it is... there's something different and I'm weirded out by it" barks.

Woof. (long pause) Grrrrrroof. (pause) grrrroof. grrr. mrph.

Emma and Quinn might have been separated at birth - Emma has been growling at the snow as well but since we recently moved into this new house, OMG: she went hysterical when the oven timer beeped, had a heart attack when the bell rang for recess on the school nearby, flipped out when the snow plow went by, and actually wet herself when my son pulled up in his snowmobile. I guess it's a learning process...

No doggie here - but the kids are bouncing off the walls waiting for the snow to hot tomorrow. Especially since Boston has already closed all public schools in anticipation.

I love the piglet blanket, btw. It looks just like her!

Femmie piglet blanket aside, I get a real kick out of you and your weirdo little dog.

Alas, the stories told by owners of small dogs. None of them seem terribly bright sometimes. At least from big dogs we seem to expect it.

Thanks everyone for checking in. We'll see how she does once the snow Bull's getting makes its way here and invades our yard!

Thanks for the fantastic comment on my blog. Very thoughtful. I responded in it.

I swear, our dog, Boddington, gets high off snow.

My littlest one barks at the snow too. She thinks the squirrels are tunneling toward the house with their walnut grenades. She's onto their world domination plot!
